Management Team

Teong C. Lim currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer and is a Director of Electronic Sensor Technology. Dr. Lim has served as a Director of Electronic Sensor Technology since January 31, 2005 and served as Vice President of Corporate Development from February 1, 2005 through January 25, 2006. Dr. Lim was the Director of Corporate Development of Electronic Sensor Technology, L.P. from March 1995 through August 2000 and was the Manager of Corporate Development of Electronic Sensor Technology, L.P. from August 2000 through February 2005. Dr. Lim has been the President of Amerasia Technology, Inc., a subsidiary of Electronic Sensor Technology, since 1984. Since 1997, Dr. Lim has been a director of Crystal Clear Technology, Sdn. Bhd., a privately-owned Malaysian company that manufactures and markets a high-contrast liquid crystal display (LCD) product line. Dr. Lim is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers ("IEEE") and Professional Engineers of Canada. Dr. Lim has served on the Program Committee and Session Chairman for many symposia and has more than 30 technical publications. Dr. Lim received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from National Taiwan University, a Master of Science degree in engineering from Ottawa University and a Ph.D. degree from McGill University. From 1968 to 1970, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Imperial College of Science and Technology, England. Dr. Lim also received an MBA degree from Pepperdine University in 1982.
   
Barry S. Howe currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Electronic Sensor Technology. Mr. Howe has served as Chief Operating Officer of Electronic Sensor Technology since April 11, 2007. Previously, Mr. Howe held various executive positions within the Thermo Electron Corporation family of companies, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermo Electron subsidiaries and President of several divisions. Thermo Electron Corporation provides process monitoring and control instrumentation to the metals, chemical and food and beverage industries. From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Howe served as the President and Corporate Vice President of the Measurement and Control Sector. In 2006, Mr. Howe served on the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Glenrose Instruments Inc. Mr. Howe received a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University.
   
  Philip Yee currently serves as Secretary, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Electronic Sensor Technology. Mr. Yee has served as Secretary, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Electronic Sensor Technology since November 1, 2006. From April 2006 through November 1, 2006, Mr. Yee served as Controller of Electronic Sensor Technology. From February 2005 through April 2006, Mr. Yee was Corporate Controller of Sleepwell Laboratories, Inc., a regional healthcare provider, and its related companies. From 2001 through February 2005, Mr. Yee was Corporate Controller of BLT Enterprises, Inc., a regional recycling company and real estate developer, and its related companies. Mr. Yee received a B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
   
  Gary W. Watson is the co-inventor of zNose and currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering, Mr. Watson supervises EST's technical personnel in the design and manufacture of the Company's line of equipment. This has included the development of the Model 7100 Fast Gas Analyzer, the Company's proprietary software package, MicroSense, and other support instrumentation to enhance the usefulness of the Company's line of sensing systems. Mr. Watson's expertise in gas chromatography began with the design of the XonTech Inc. GC-710 Portable Explosive Detector and the Model GC-712 Walk Through Portal explosive detection system. These products were instrumental in expanding the state of the art in explosive detection and established Mr. Watson as an expert in the field. Mr. Watson's experience includes the design of visible and infrared gas and chemical lasers for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency while at Xonics, Inc. He was the Project Engineer in charge of equipment fabrication, data acquisition and data analysis. Mr. Watson joined Amerasia Technology Inc. (the General Partner of Electronic Sensor Technology) in 1988 and directed the Company's research in adapting gas chromatographic techniques with surface acoustic wave (SAW) detectors. Mr. Watson’s efforts, as co-inventor of the zNose, resulted in several patents and the Model 4100 detection system. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in applied mechanics from the University of Southern California in 1972. He has almost 30 years experience in the applied research and design of highly technical instruments and instrumentation.
   
  David Long currently serves as Director of Sales and Marketing for North America. Mr. Long has extensive experience in the marketing and sales of analytical iinstruments to commercial and governmental customers. Previously, he was the Director of Sales and Operations for Airsense North America (2001-2006) and; the VP of Marketing for Akemi Inc (1997-2001). He was the founder of JLA Sales & Professional Services (1981-1997). Mr. Long has a BS in Political Science from Southwest Texas State University.
   
  Catherine F. Koeritz currently serves as Sales Manager of Electronic Sensor Technology. Mr. Koeritz has been with Electronic Sensor Technology since the inception of the Company and has over 15 years experience in marketing and sales. As a former Contractor Special Security Officer at Whittaker Electronic Systems Division, Ms. Koeritz brings with her experience in government contracts, sales management and customer support.
